AI visibility for care homes

When a family asks AI for a home near them, will yours be named?

Families now ask Google, ChatGPT, Gemini and Perplexity who to call. Today those answers mostly point to directories and big branded communities. We make your home findable, citable and trusted, so the answer can point to you.

What we see today

Directories get cited. Small homes do not.

When we searched for small assisted living homes in Phoenix-area cities in October 2026, the results were directory listing pages and large communities with long review histories. The small homes that did appear showed up as directory listings, not on their own websites.

That matters twice. The AI describes your home from someone else's page, and the phone number on that page may route the family to the directory's advisor instead of to you.

A home with the best care and no online proof loses the first click to the building with the most reviews. That is fixable, and it does not take a big budget.

How families find care now

Four questions owners ask about AI search

How does an AI assistant decide which home to name?

It names what it can find, read and trust: a complete Google Business Profile, consistent facts across the web, reviews, and pages that answer the family's question directly.

Google's AI features draw on the same index as regular search, so the basics still decide most of it: a crawlable site, the right business category, accurate hours and phone, and content that answers real questions in plain language.

There is no secret file or trick that makes an AI recommend you. The work is being the most complete, consistent and credible source about your own home.

Why do directories show up instead of my home?

Because they have more pages, more reviews and more structured facts about your city than most small homes publish about themselves.

Directories are useful to families and some refer good residents. But when a directory is the only page that describes your home, it decides what families read first and which phone number they call.

What does it take for a small home to be named?

A complete Google profile, reviews on a steady system, a fast site built to earn the tour, and a few answer-first pages only your home can write.

  • -Google Business Profile - the right primary category, every field filled, real photos, your own phone number, and posts that keep it current.
  • -Reviews on a system - a simple, honest ask after a good moment. Never traded for anything, never gated, and never a reply that confirms someone is a resident.
  • -A website built to earn the tour - your phone number on every page, a tour request that works on a phone, and the facts a family checks: levels of care, the house, the people.
  • -Citable, answer-first pages - plain answers to the questions families ask you on every tour, in your own words, with details no directory has.

How long does it take to show up?

It varies by city and by how much proof your home already has. We do not promise rankings or a timeline. We measure it.

We run the same AI and map searches for your city at the start, then track whether you are named, where you appear in the map pack, and how fast inquiries are answered. You see the change in the weekly review.

What we fix

The visibility install, in the order we do it

1

Google Business Profile

Claimed, verified, right category, every field complete, photos, your own number. Pre-opening homes start this before the license arrives.

2

Reviews on a system

A review-request routine and reply templates that never confirm residency. Steady, honest, never traded for anything.

3

A site that earns the tour

Fast on a phone, tel link in reach of a thumb, a tour request that works, and facts you have confirmed - no number goes up until you do.

4

Answer-first pages

The questions families ask on every tour, answered in your words, so AI assistants have something true and specific to cite.

FAQ

Questions operators ask first

Do I need to be on directories at all?

Many homes get good referrals from directories and placement partners. The goal is not to leave them; it is to make sure your own profile and site describe your home accurately and route families to your own phone.

Is AI search replacing Google?

Not for local care searches today. Google's map pack and AI features still carry most of it, and they use the same signals: a complete profile, reviews, and a site that answers questions. Fixing those helps in every assistant at once.

Do I need an llms.txt file or special AI markup?

No. Google says its AI features do not need special files or markup beyond normal search best practices. We focus on the profile, the reviews, the site and the content.

Will you post reviews for us?

Never. No fake reviews, no paid reviews, no review gating, and nothing of value traded for a review. We set up an honest ask; your families decide.
